My name is Claudia; I am 24 years old and a first-time mom to an 8-month-old baby girl! I was born in San Francisco and moved to Pittsburg shortly after and have been there my entire life. I love spending time with my family and out in the sun (yes, summer is my favorite season because who's isn't??). Growing up, I've always loved being surrounded by water. I learned to swim at a very young age; since then, it has been game over. My very first job was at a community pool as a swim instructor. I worked there for 2 years and afterward left to work at Little Swimmers as an instructor. I LOVED the connections I made with my swimmers and their families, and I talk to some of them to this day. When I left Little Swimmers in 2019, I took a break from swim instructing and did a temporary job for the Covid-19 Vaccine Line. I quickly realized that despite it being a temporary job, it wasn't something my heart was in. I LOVE swimming, and I LOVE instructing. As for my swimming experience, I went to Pittsburg High and swam on the swim team in my junior and senior years. In my junior year, they created a water polo team, and I decided to join that as well, but it lasted only a short time since there was no water polo team for my senior year. When I was younger, I swam for the Antioch Delta Skimmers (ADS) for a year but felt the pace was too fast for my little 10-year-old self. I am EXTREMELY excited to start this new journey with you all as your new assistant coach! I can't wait to see all the connections, memories, and victories we make as a team. Hi Springwood families! My name is Cassidy! I am so excited to be a swimmer coach for the 2023 swim season! This will be my 12th year swimming for Springwood, and I also do varsity water polo and beach volleyball at Clayton Valley Charter High School. I have learned so much from Springwood over the years and can’t wait to put all that love back into our team!
Hi! My name is Tori, and I am excited about the 2023 swim season. I can't wait to coach! This will be my 6th year swimming for Springwood. It is one of my favorite places to be. Last Summer, I lifeguarded and taught swim lessons at Cowell Pool. I am on varsity water polo and beach volleyball in my free time at Clayton Valley. I also dance! I can't wait for this summer. Swim fast, Springwood!
