Registration for families with at least ONE team swimmer

This registration is for families who want to register at least one swimmer for the swim team.  This includes families who have both swimmers and mini sprinters.

Note: If your family only has Mini Sprinters, this registration is NOT FOR YOU. Go back and use the other form

Pool Fee

The pool fee  is required by all families and goes towards pool maintenance, chlorine, PG&E bills, coaching staff and use of the pool from April - October. 

Note: Families who only have 15-18 swimmers do not pay the splash fee.

Full Release and Indemnification Agreement

The undersigned parent and/or guardian consent to his/her child(ren) participating with the Springwood Swim Team and release the Springwood Swim Team, Springwood Swim Club, it’s members, officers, employees, or Board of directors, as well as the Diablo Community Swim League Board of Directors and volunteers from any liability or claim resulting from any accident or injury sustained by the child(ren) during or coming or going from said team; and I further agree to indemnify and assume all expenses, costs, attorney’s fees, and losses arising from said injury or accident to said child(ren) and to hold said Swim Team, Swim Club, it’s members, officers, employees, and Board of Directors as well as the Diablo Community Swim League Board of Directors and volunteers free and harmless there from.

Family Participation Agreement

A “NO SHOW” penalty will be assessed to families that fail to fulfill their scheduled work obligations. Failure to meet scheduled obligations will result in the following actions:

First missed family work obligation - your swimmer(s) may be prohibited from swimming at an upcoming meet.

Second missed family work obligation - your swimmer(s) may be prohibited from swimming at an upcoming meet AND you will be assessed a $50 fee.

Third missed family work obligation - the family will be sent a notice informing them that they have missed their scheduled work obligation for a third time. The Springwood Swim Team Board may send a letter to the family informing them that their Team Membership has been terminated. The family may appeal this decision in person to the board.

Work Assignment Conduct

Parents/guardians of swimmers who have committed to work during swim meets will not be permitted to work if they are under the influence of alcohol. If a scheduled work assignment is missed the “make up” scheduled work assignment will be the responsibility of the family. Please do not show up to our swim meets under the influence of alcohol as this raises several safety concerns and you may be asked to leave the swim meet. Please help us promote a safe environment for our team.

This is to acknowledge that I am aware that parents are taking pictures during swim events. Pictures may be used on Springwood Swim Team/Club’s website and on other promotional materials; however Springwood Swim Team/Club will not associate names with pictures.
